Karen Gwyer and Beatrice Dillon join forces for a limited 12″ release on Alien Jams. Both artists find themselves deeply ingrained in London’s vibrant electronics scene, however, these two musicians approach their sound from two distinctly different angles.
Dillon’s “Curl” combines synthesised percussive effects with dubby analogue tones – maintaining the avant-garde sensibilities of her Blues Dances release on Where to Now? – while the synths of Gwyer’s “Common Soundproofing Myths” wail like sirens before falling into intoxicating acid territory.
A. Beatrice Dillon – Curl
