Consider yourself introduced to producer Kekeno and his new EP called “Better Luck Last Time”.
We recently came across his work and were instantly drwan transported to a kaleidoscopic world of lo-fi beats, abstract grooves and intriguing field recordings.
The four track release is expertly built around field recordings that the producer captured over the last year.
With a deft ear for field recording, Kekeno takes in sounds from airports, theme parks, zoos, hotels, museums, beaches and city streets blending them with lo-fi home recordings of pianos, guitars, synthesisers and drum machines.
The result is a four-track EP of Lo–fi electronic sound sculptures of the world around us.
